Who is it for?
The Passion Trust invites you to its annual conference for anyone interested in staging passion and mystery plays in the UK. Actors, Artists, Directors, Producers, Volunteers, Stage designers, Armourers, Safety consultants, Lighting and Sound companies are all welcome!
About the Conference
This is the only day of the year to see the best producers, directors and actors of Passion Plays in the UK.
£50 registration includes conference, tea, coffee and cake, and lunch.
Discounted rates to stay at the delightful Green Pastures nearby at £35 incl. breakfast.
Hosted by Poole Passion, Dorset’s largest community theatre group.
Keynote speaker Charlotte de Klee is the producer of the most successful Passion Play in the UK attracting 30,000 people in Trafalgar Square.
The Passion Trust exists to support you as you produce and perform passion plays in your own towns and cities.The conference will cover:
- Information on how the Passion Trust can support you with funding and publicity.
- Opportunities to network with other Passion Plays and to learn from the experts.
- Input on how to produce and direct the best biblical drama for your town or city.
- Advice on how to put on a play with little resources and many volunteers.
- Space to learning from others about working with local councils, volunteer groups and churches.
- New ways of writing, rehearsing and involving your local community.
